Automated Blending Mill plant
A customer recently commissioned a large-scale milling system consisting of seven raw products and four additives. They required the flexibility to create custom recipes, blending multiple products at precise rates and processing them through the mill simultaneously.
Farm Automation designed and delivered a fully custom control system that brought this concept to life—providing accurate recipe control, reliable operation, and seamless system integration.
Grain Transfer System
We were engaged to design an automated grain transfer system capable of unloading product from a truck into any of seven silos. The operator simply selects the destination silo and presses Start—the control system manages all sequencing automatically.
Once the selected silo is full, the driver is notified and the plant performs an orderly shutdown, clearing all augers to prevent cross-contamination and ensure product integrity.
Dairy Robot Feeder Control
This is one of our standard automation systems, designed for modern dairy operations. As dairy robots become increasingly common on Australian farms, this control system automatically manages the filling of robot feed hoppers.
Operating 24/7, the system ensures feed is always available as cows are milked at their own pace. If an issue is detected—such as low or unavailable feed—the farm manager is immediately notified via our online monitoring system.
Domestic wood heating system
This project was a little different for us. Our friends at TurboHeat wanted a more user-friendly control system for their ducted wood fire heating system. They required a wall-mounted touchscreen with a simple, intuitive interface, while the control hardware was installed in the roof alongside the fan and sensors.
We embraced the challenge and delivered a reliable, easy-to-use system that exceeded expectations.
